About

I love building useful tools. My goal is for those tools to feel as simple and intuitive as possible, both for the person using them and for the dev team, or future me, working on them later.

That usually pulls me toward full-stack work: the places where frontend, backend, data, and product decisions all meet. I enjoy working through the details that make software easier to use, easier to maintain, and easier to trust.

A lot of the time, my starting point is simple: if there is something I wish existed, I will usually try to build it.

Along with coding, I enjoy cooking, good music, television, and movies. I also love being active, particularly by playing tennis, basketball, golf, and ping-pong.
